I’ve been going to Big Paulys for 5 years easy. You may wet well be served by the owner, and they can make a wood fired pizza. I’m 1/2 pickup 1/2 dine in. Love both depending on circumstance. Outstanding wood fired pizza with the leopard spot bottom.

We had a great time at Big Pauly’s. We went on a Friday night and sat outside. So there a was a little wait which was to be expected. Our server was upfront with that it might take 40 mins for the pizza and suggested the garlic knots. They were so good! We had the Margarita pizza (added sausage) which was great! I think what I loved was the crust. It was light and fluffy, and not chewy.

Great pizza garlic rolls were wonderful cinque formatting (5 cheese)very cheesey the desserts were amazing death by chocolate and the Chicago pothole Gelato melts in your mouth

There’s something refreshing about eating at a restaurant where a husband and wife are working hard and taking care of you asking how you’re doing and trying to learn about you. The food was great. Service was great. I’ll definitely be back. It’s about two hours from my hometown, we were just passing through but like to Google reviews and decided to try it. I’m glad we did.

We have only ordered twice from Big Pauly's, and both times were top notch! The first time we placed a pick up order, the second time we dined in. The pizzas are absolutely delicious! We have tried three different types of pizza so far, and have loved them all. The chopped salad is excellent and the cannolis are good as well. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! This is by far the best pizza and service we have had in the area!

Got delivery through website. Fell in love with them when they first opened when we dined in. Been a long time since ive had it. Finally saw they deliver. And the Margarita Pizza is still just as amazing as the first time I had it. And got the pasta and meatball. Their sauce is just right. I am one to always say there is something that can make it better. But all I can say everything is on point. From the perfect woodfired crust. Perfect amount of tomatoes, cheese, basil on the pizza. And again their marinara sauce is perfect. Cant wait to have it again. Which I plan to more now!!

We were incredibly pleased with our experience at Big Pauly’s. We were greeted by a lovely girl up front, and taken to our seats. The food came out pretty fast and wow, was it amazing! I’m not joking, these were the BEST garlic knots I’ve ever had in my life. My husband agreed! Make sure to get their Alfredo sauce added to dip. The white hot honey pizza was also delicious. The crust was phenomenal. Our waitress Leah was wonderful and very helpful! The girls that work there just have the best energy! Absolutely recommend and will be coming back. 10/10!!!

I recently got a chance to try Big Pauly’s Wood Fired Pizza on a recent visit to Plainfield. From ordering, all the way to pick-up, service was extraordinary. It’s very rare to see this level of accommodation at any restaurant, let alone a pizza restaurant. The staff were great, very friendly, helpful and interactive. I ordered a “Butcher” pizza, essentially a meat lovers. Prices were a little on the high side compared to some other similar wood fired pizza places in the area, but I am always willing to pay more if the quality is there. The toppings were a generous amount and tasted fresh. The cheese was a good amount and had a good melt, you can tell when a low moisture mozza is used. The sauce was a good amount, yet I found it to be very tart, almost sour. May have been an off day or maybe just a personal taste. The crust was dynamite, well flavoured, yet simple and cooked nicely. It had an airy, yet chewy taste, very nice. Overall, very well made pizza and incredible staff. Definitely worthwhile you check out Big Pauly’s if you are in the area or are craving a great pizza.
